The Democrats say Gustav is God sent. The Republicans are trying to take advantage of the situation by appearing more compassionate. George Bush learned from Katrina so he’s skipping his Monday night appearance at the Convention. McCain had talked about postponing the Convention but everyone knew THAT was not going to happen.
