Barack Obama's speech at the Democratic convention when he said

"There is not a black America and a white America and Latino America and Asian America,"
"There's is only the United States of America."

That was a echo of JFK's hope and optimisim and we can do anything … go to the Moon… become a better people a better nation.

Although he tries to stay positive he hasn't reached that level of inspiration of message on the campaign trail.
